The Problem

Numerous states including Nebraska, Wyoming, Alaska and Indiana, sought federal approval and funding guidance for projects in their respective states. Each state needed assistance assessing the maturity of its Medicaid enterprise with the intent to secure funding for improvements. Elyon Strategies consultants were engaged by each state separately to address and visualize these needs in an efficient, data-driven manner.

Our Solution

Using CADET^SM AI, our AI-powered sidekick, Elyon Strategies:

1. Assessed the current state maturity using existing documents such as SS-A, procurement documents, and APDs
2. Visualized business area performance using models
3. Facilitated the selection of a target state
4. Created blueprints outlining the necessary improvements

The Role of AI

With a data-driven approach, CADET^SM AI streamlined the process of securing federal funding by using previous maturity assessments as a baseline. It then compared the current model to potential future models and provided language for Advance Planning Documents (ADPs).

The Result

Federal oversight organizations were confident in the architecture and strategies developed by Elyon Strategies. As a result, each state successfully obtained funding for its modernization roadmaps that were backed by data, thoroughly analyzed, and forward-thinking.
